DirectShifts is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pulmonologist to join our team in providing specialized care to patients with respiratory conditions in various locations in the state of Washington.
Job Description:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, sleep apnea, interstitial lung disease, pneumonia, and lung cancer.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopies, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Prescribe and manage medications, including inhalers, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary rehabilitation.
- Interpret chest X-rays, CT scans, and other imaging studies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients on lung health and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in pulmonology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Medicine
- Valid medical license in Washington State
- Extensive experience in diagnosing and treating respiratory conditions
- Proficiency in performing pulmonary procedures
- Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment
