Bon Secours Health System in Richmond, Virginia is currently seeking BC/BE Psychiatrists interested in moonlighting opportunities and vacation coverage on the inpatient units at Richmond Community and St. Marys Hospitals. Successful candidate will be a team player who is comfortable working with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals. Weekend Coverage Duties:
- Inpatient rounding on adult psychiatric unit (Saturday and Sunday)
- Consult/Liaison coverage on medical Floors (Saturday and Sunday)
- Treat patients with a wide range of psychiatric illnesses including geriatrics and addictions
- Telephonic call from 6pm to 8am
- EHR is Epic with psychiatric template notes available
- TigerConnect available for easy HIPPA compliant texting with other providers
- Strong support staff including Behavioral Health Techs, Nurses and Social Workers to assist on weekends
- Hospitalist available for consultation and management of medical problems and medical H&P
Nighttime Telephonic Call Coverage Duties: - 6pm to 8am
- Review potential ER admissions with psychiatric ER social worker
- Cover calls from inpatient unit
Qualifications: - MD or DO
- Board Certified/ Board Eligible Psychiatry
- US Citizen
