We are seeking a LocumsRadiology Physician to provide coverage at a well-established healthcare systemin Springfield, Massachusetts. This opportunity offers a predictable weekdayschedule with no call or weekend responsibilities, supporting an excellentwork-life balance.
Compensation: $290 Per Hour
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
- Weekend Requirements: None
- On-Call Requirements: None
- Practice Setting: Hospital-based and outpatient imaging locations
- Average Daily Volume: Variable
- Annual Emergency Department Volume: Approximately 120 patients per day
- EMR / PACS: Epic, PowerScribe, PACS
- Radiology Team: Currently 8 radiologists; transitioning to a team of 6 after February
- Support Staff: Full complement of technologists and administrative support
- Patient Population: Adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
Responsibilities
- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies across hospital and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with referring physicians and clinical teams to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses
- Provide high-quality radiology services in accordance with established clinical standards
- Maintain clear and thorough documentation within the EMR and dictation systems
Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology
- Active Massachusetts medical license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
