This position seeks a board-certified or board-eligible neurosurgeon specializing in trauma-focused spine oncology to join a Level II Trauma Center in Columbus, GA. The role involves performing an average of 40-45 surgeries per month, primarily spine-related, with comprehensive hospital and OR support including PAs, NPs, and specialized staff. Employed Neurosurgeon (Trauma-Focused)

Position Highlights
- Join 1 experienced neurosurgeon and a full OR support team
- Level II Trauma Center with growing neurosurgical demand
- Desired subspecialty: Trauma Spine Oncology
- Expected case mix: 75% Spine / 15% Trauma / 10% Cranial
- Average of 40-45 cases/month with 3-5 OR days/week
- Common procedures: ACF, PLIF, lumbar discectomy, craniotomy, VP shunt
- Support from PAs, NPs, dedicated scrub techs & neuro-trained OR staff
- 7-10 days of call
- Hospitalist team manages inpatient care
- Outpatient follow-ups handled by physician + APPs
- Midlevel support for clinic, first assist, and rounding
- Take over active referral stream (25-30 new patient referrals daily)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards
- Engage in community education and outreach to promote cardiovascular health

Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery fellowship program
- Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with a patient-centered approach
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Sponsorship: Able to sponsor H1b waivers
