Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a 13-week contract working 12-hour day shifts, requiring a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the ICU unit of a hospital setting
• Cares for critical care patient population
• 3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00 to 19:00
• 13-week contract assignment
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Locals residing within 50 miles or in specific counties are not eligible for this assignment
• Former perm staff must have not worked at this facility for at least one year to be eligible
• No more than three days of requested time off (RTO) will be automatically approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
• Minimum of one year recent critical care experience in a similar healthcare setting
• Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Previous travel experience required
• English language proficiency (speak, read, write)
