Job Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional GI Tech with at least 2 years of GI Lab experience and current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Position is based in an inpatient/outpatient GI Lab performing GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Procedures include ERCP, SpyGlass, EUS, EBUS, and navigation bronchoscopy
• Works 10-hour day shifts, 4 days per week from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week assignment
• No on-call required
• Uses Cerner EMR system
• Performs a variety of GI and pulmonary diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Must not live within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning permanent staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
• Department has 24-hour responsibility
• Time off requests must be submitted up front and cannot be requested after offer

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a GI Lab or related interventional GI specialty
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
