Summary
- Deliver specialized healthcare services to patients in hospital and clinic settings.
- Conduct examinations, provide treatment for routine clinical issues, order diagnostic tests, establish diagnoses, prescribe medication, and educate patients and families on continuing care.
Essential Functions:
- Outpatient Practice Duties
- Staff outpatient office clinic in primary location and satellite offices
- Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests
- Provide post-operative care and patient education
- Participate in community wellness events
- Inpatient Practice Duties
- Attend to patients in hospital settings, complete health assessments
- Assist with rounds, consults, and treatment plans
- Generate progress notes and discharge summaries
- Provide patient education and follow-up plans
- Stress Testing Practice Duties
- Conduct stress testing and promptly manage complications
- Maintain knowledge of cardiovascular physiology and stress testing protocols
- Administer ACLS/BLS as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Required:
- Active Registered Nurse and ARNP licensure with prescriptive authority in the state of Washington, required by start date.
- Active Physician Assistant licensure with prescriptive authority in Washington
- CPR/ACLS Certification
- Desired:
- Related experience
- Cardiology Specialty Certification
