Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Active Georgia SLP license required to start the assignment.
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care SLP experience within specialty required.
• Required AHA BLS certification.
• Experience supporting acute care patients across medical and surgical diagnoses, including ICU, stroke/neurologic, dysphagia, respiratory compromise, and cognitive disorders.
• Experience with Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) or FEES is preferred but not required.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Schedule: 5x8, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM typical (schedule may vary).
• Weekend Requirement: Minimum 2 weekends per 4 weeks; preferred 4 weekends per 4 weeks.
• Float Requirement: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Population Served: Acute care patients across hospital units including ICU and stroke/neurology.
