This facility is seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
•Schedule: 8a-5p plus call
•Practice Setting: Inpatient
•Type of cases and required procedures: Bedside procedures excluding circumcisions. neonatal resuscitation, Peripheral intravenous (PIV) placement, arterial sticks, umbilical line placement, endotracheal intubation, needle thoracostomy, chest tube placement, lumbar puncture, initiation of neonatal therapeutic hypothermia, chemical cauterization with silver nitrate, and straight urinary catheterization. obtain and wet read x-rays (chest, abdomen, skeletal) to guide patient management). coordinate head ultrasounds, spinal ultrasounds, echocardiograms, and Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and consult specialists as needed.
