An Interventional Radiology Physician providing specialized minimally invasive image-guided procedures such as biopsies, ablations, and vascular interventions at a Level 2 Trauma Facility. Duties include performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using IR, CT, and Ultrasound technologies, while managing on-call coverage and responding within 30 minutes. Requires board certification, active PA license, DEA, CSR, and experience with EMR systems such as Cerner.

Schedule
- Monday - Friday 8a-5p,
- Night Call 5p-8a - 30 minute response time
- Weekend: 8a-8a
- 20 shifts per month
Clinical Details
- Level 2 Trauma Facility
- IR, CT and Ultrasound and on-call coverage. No rounding on weekends
- Procedures: Ablation (Lung, liver, bone, renal, adrenal), Abscess Drainage, Angiography (arterial intervention), Biliary Drain (Primary) Placement, Biliary Tube Change, Bone Marrow Biopsy, Chemoembolization/Radioembolization(Y90), CT-Guided Biopsy (Lung, Masses, Renal, Lymph Nodes), Dialysis Access Intervention, G-Tube,IVC Filter Placement and removal, Liver Biopsy (CT or US), Liver Biopsy (Transjugular), Lumbar Puncture/Cisternogram, Nephrostomy/ Percutaneous Tube Placement,Tube/Catheter Change (Nephrostomy, Abscess, Ureteral Stents), Paracentesis PICC Line, Pleurx Catheter InsertionPort Placement/Tunneled Line, Superficial Aspiration/ Biopsy,Thoracentesis, Thyroid Biopsy,TIPS (Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt),Uterine Fibroid/Artery Embolization/ Pelvic Congestion Syndrome,
- Venogram, Venous Intervention (Intrathoracic and CNS), Venous Intervention (Pelvis and extremities), Vertebroplasty/ Kyphoplasty
Requirements
- Board Certified
- Active PA License, DEA and CSR
- Minimum 1 year experience
