Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a WI or compact RN license, telemetry experience, and EPIC proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Position is in a hospital medical/surgical unit
- Night shift schedule from 7:00 pm to 7:30 am
- Adult med/surg patient population with telemetry monitoring responsibilities
- Requires telemetry background and ability to read telemetry
- Use of EPIC EMR
- May be required to float within skill set or to locations within 40 miles if needed
- Every other weekend and every other holiday scheduling required
- Expected to maintain short natural nails without artificial or acrylic enhancements
- May be required to float to other sites within a 40-mile radius based on staffing needs
- Holiday and every other weekend coverage is mandatory
- Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate according to facility radius rule
- COVID vaccination is not required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- BLS certification from AHA required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Experience with telemetry monitoring required
- EPIC charting experience required
- Nursys verification and license/certification primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start
- Must provide US Social Security Number and US home address
