Job Description:

• Specialty: Hematology/Oncology
• Candidate Type: MD, DO

Responsibilities:

• Provide coverage for our team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Arrive one day before the first shift at 7:00 am for orientation.

Weekly Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Friday: 8:00 am - 12:00 pm

Details:

• Setting: Outpatient clinic with an infusion center featuring 14 chairs.
• Practice Composition: Established practice with 2 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners/physician assistants.
• Outreach Location: One day per week will be spent in an outreach location (Richlands) within 45 minutes of Kinston, NC.
• On-call and Weekends: No call or weekends required.
• Patient Load: Average of 15 patients per day.
• Emergency Response: Providers will respond to codes in the outpatient clinic setting only.
• Required Procedures: Supervision of the administration of chemotherapy treatments.
• EMR: EPIC
