Initial training: Mon–Fri, 6:00am–2:30pm (first 30 days)
Pay: $30.33/hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join a leading manufacturing facility in Gaston, SC. This role is essential for maintaining the performance, safety, and longevity of plant equipment and infrastructure. The Maintenance Technician will play a critical role in conducting routine inspections, performing preventative and corrective maintenance, and ensuring all systems meet safety and operational standards prior to production startup.
- Conduct thorough plant walkthroughs to proactively identify and address maintenance needs.
- Inspect and maintain a variety of systems and equipment including:
- Air compressors
- Thermocouples
- Fire pump systems
- Dust collection systems
- Case packers
- Perform lubrication and preventative maintenance on components such as:
- Proximity switches
- Safety showers
- Eyewash stations
- Utilize hand and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Keep maintenance areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.
- Support equipment validation and ensure readiness prior to production start-up.
- Complete accurate documentation of all work performed in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Requirements:
- Proficient in using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to log maintenance activities and access work orders.
- Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and equipment safety protocols.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and working in a regulated production environment.
- Ability to work independently, follow technical instructions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
