Our job summary

Academic, full-time, hospital-employed Gastroenterologist (BE/BC) to provide inpatient and outpatient care, supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows, and participate in departmental committees. Role includes clinic duties (personal and resident continuity clinics), academic appointment, productivity bonus, starting bonus, CME allowance, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits including paid malpractice. Position located in a riverside West Virginia university community with access to regional cities and outdoor recreation.

Seeking a BE/BC Gastroenterologist to join our academic team in western West Virginia.

Details:

Full-time, hospital employed position
Provide evaluation and care as a faculty/attending physician for inpatients and outpatients at all Gastro locations
- This will include a combination of both personal clinics and resident walk-in/continuity clinics
Position includes supervision and instruction of medical students, residents, and fellows as appropriate in skills associated with the professional practice of Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine
Participate in committees and attend Section meetings as assigned - virtual/remote attendance and participation will be permitted
Resident population of approximately 50,000+
Academic appointment commensurate with experience and training
