This role is responsible for leading the testing of gas turbine engines and subsystems, including ownership of development test assets, procedures, and data analysis. As the subject matter expert for engine operability and testing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a critical partner to customers during integration and flight testing campaigns.

We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Test Engineer to join our Engineering Group in Roswell, GA. This role is responsible for leading the testing of gas turbine engines and subsystems, including ownership of development test assets, procedures, and data analysis. As the subject matter expert for engine operability and testing, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a critical partner to customers during integration and flight testing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for engine testing and operability in on-site test cells.
Develop, maintain, and improve tools and processes for evaluating and post-processing test data.
Lead the development and execution of propulsion system test plans, including sea-level static and altitude-simulated tests.
Serve as the main point of contact for customers during integration and flight testing, including troubleshooting and on-site support.
Design and modify test components, fixtures, flow benches, and related infrastructure.
Guide best practices through Test Concept Reviews (TCR) and Test Readiness Reviews (TRR).
Support Engineering Leadership in defining the company’s Technology Roadmap for propulsion testing capabilities.

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or related Engineering discipline (advanced degree preferred).
7+ years of gas turbine industry experience, with 5+ years in test environments.
Expertise in instrumentation and measurement techniques for turbomachinery testing.
Strong knowledge of turbomachinery physics, operation, and failure modes.
Familiarity with Turbine Engine Control Units (ECUs), FADEC systems, and related communication protocols.
Proficiency with drafting best practices (GD&T, ASME standards).
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
Proven leadership in propulsion testing processes.
Energetic and collaborative team player with a passion for solving high-impact challenges.
