The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care for general surgical, neurosurgical, and spinal procedures in a Level II Trauma Center hospital setting. The role involves administering anesthesia, managing ventilation, and continuous patient monitoring under anesthesiologist supervision. The position requires board certification, licensure, and relevant certifications while working scheduled shifts within a collaborative surgical team.

Job Description
- Administer anesthesia for general surgical procedures for both adult and pediatric patients.
- Provide anesthesia care for neurosurgical cases, ensuring proper management of neurological status pre- and post-procedure.
- Perform spinal anesthesia and local infiltration anesthesia as required by surgical procedures.
- Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout the surgical process
- Deliver anesthesia under direct supervision in a collaborative environment with anesthesiologists and surgical teams.
- Maintain continuous patient monitoring throughout the perioperative phase (pre-op, intra-op, and post-op)
- Utilize Epic EMR for all documentation and anesthesia records
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedural protocols, and safety standards.
- Work four (4) 10-hour shifts per week
- No on-call duties required (strictly scheduled shifts)
- Operate within a hospital-based setting designated as a Level II Trauma Center
- Contribute to a daily volume of approximately 50 surgical cases
- Work alongside a team in multiple operating rooms, with rotating assignments based on need
- Respond to emergencies and provide airway management, including intubation if needed
Estimated Credentialing Timeframe: 90-120 days
Submission Requirements
- Board Certified CRNA - REQUIRED
- Active MI license - REQUIRED
- Clean Background- REQUIRED
- ACLS & BLS through AHA - REQUIRED
- PALS - REQUIRED
- Must have 1 year CRNA experience - REQUIRED
