Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures with attention to patient comfort and diagnostic quality
- Operate and learn to operate Siemens Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM systems; training available if needed
- Document imaging exams and patient information accurately in EPIC
- Maintain radiation safety practices and wear/use the provided radiation badge
- Follow facility infection control and fingernail policies to ensure patient safety and compliance
- Communicate clearly with patients and multidisciplinary team members to support timely, high-quality care
- Participate in orientation and any required training to maintain competency and meet unit standards

Requirements
Qualifications
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) via NMTCB certificate required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Valid driver’s license required at submittal (used to determine radius eligibility)
- DOT certification preferred at start and required if extended (to be completed within 90 days of extension)
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
- Willingness to comply with facility policies and radius rules (cannot be on staff with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity)
Knowledge & Skills
- Hands-on knowledge of Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and documentation workflows
- Comfort with Siemens Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAM imaging platforms (training available)
- Strong radiation safety awareness and badge monitoring practices
- Patient positioning, image acquisition, and attention to diagnostic image quality
- Professional communication and teamwork in an acute care setting
