Key Highlights:
- Shifts: 12-hour shifts (14-16/mo), with some 24-hour shifts (7-8/mo) possible
- Volume: 30-32 visits per day expected to increase after expansion
- Expansion: ER growing from 7 to 16 beds within the next year
- Current staff: 4 full-time FTE, plus PRN
- Call: No scheduled call; call only in the event of emergencies (e.g., natural disasters)
- Salary/Benefits: $180/hour plus full benefits, paid malpractice, relocation allowance
- Facility: Enjoy a small, locally managed hospital (not part of a big system that brings frustrating and impersonal management), good ancillary services (lab, x-ray), full-time general and orthopedic surgery on staff, high-quality staff, and patient satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine (EM) preferred
- Family Practice or Internal Medicine candidates with ER experience will be considered
