The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute are excited to welcome a passionate and academically inclined Interventional Cardiologist to join our distinguished faculty team. Position Details:

  • Practice interventional cardiology - work in an academic setting with a supportive team dynamic
  • Open to all levels of experience - Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor
  • Tailor your role to your expertise and preferences
  • Generous compensation - based on MGMA guidelines
  • Relaxed call schedule - call attendees cover the majority of incoming calls with scribes and support staff on call

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to conduct research in the subspecialty of choice
    • Research is not obligatory
  • 1,100 - 1,200 PCI per year
  • 200 TAVR per year
  • Mentorship for incoming residents at select locations

Qualifications:

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD or DO)
  • Licensure:Valid medical licensure and Board Certification in Cardiology
  • Work Experience: Completion of an accredited fellowship in Interventional Cardiology
