The position is for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to provide full-time clinical urology services, including surgeries and consultations, at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in West Virginia. The role involves approximately 95% direct patient care with responsibilities for specialty exams, on-call duties, and timely presence for clinics and surgeries. Required qualifications include board certification or eligibility in urology, relevant residency or fellowship completion, state licensure, and BLS/ACLS certification.
Spectrum Healthcare Resources is actively searching for a Board Certified or Board EligibleUrologist to provide services at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center located in Clarksburg, West Virginia. This Urologist position offers: - Full Time - Direct Patient Care:estimated 95 % of the time involved in direct patient care. Contractor shall be responsible for professional urology services. - Provide clinical urology services including surgeries, consultations cystoscopies and other related urology procedures. - Shall be present on time for any scheduled clinics/surgeries as documented by physical presence in the clinic or operating room at the scheduled start time. - Shall provide direct patient care including specialty exams such as compensation and pension, agent orange, etc., as it pertains to urological conditions only. - Monday through Friday, 7:30 a to 4:00 pm, on call hours as required - On-Call Weeknight: Monday - Friday; 4:00pm - 7:30am. - On-Call Weekends: Saturday 7:30am - Sunday 7:30am and/or Sunday 7:30am - Monday 7:30am. - On-Call Holidays: 12:00am - 11:59pm. Physician to carry pager or cell phone at all times while on-call. - On-call contractors physician(s) must be available at all times for phone consultations with VA residents and physicians. - On-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site, within 60 minutes Job Requirements: The Urologist will have the following requirements: - Board Eligible or Board Certified in Urology - Completed a Residency or Fellowship in Urology - Any State License - BLS, ACLS At Spectrum, we utilize over thirty-five years of experience providing optimal solutions for federal agencies that are both innovative and cost-effective.
