Description

The Associate Lab Assistant is responsible for completing and maintaining competency in specimen processing and packing, phlebotomy, and client services. Assists in the pre-analytical phase of select testing. Upholds laboratory compliance and accreditation through adherence to established departmental policies and procedures, safety standards, and infection control standards. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training: Completion of a formal Phlebotomy Training Program.
• Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous phlebotomy experience.
