Travel Nursing Job Details

• Assignment Type: Travel Operating Room RN
• Location: Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin 53158
• Healthcare Setting: Operating Room (General, Eyes, ENT, GYN, Urology, Plastic, Ortho, Sports Medicine, Spine, Neuro, Podiatry)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/14/2025 – End: 3/15/2026)
• Nursing Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (07:00 – 15:30)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Call Requirement: 2-3 days/week & every 4-5 weekends
• Patient Age Groups: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Orientation: 8 hours

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience
• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state nursing license (required upon submission)
• BLS certification (required)
• Epic charting system experience (preferred)
• Proficiency in robotic, orthopedic, neuro, and general surgical procedures
• Ability to participate in scheduled call rotation, including weekends
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Latex allergy cannot be accommodated
• Two supervisor references required after offer

OR RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures
• Circulate and/or scrub for surgeries including robotic, orthopedic, neuro, and general cases
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including rapid response and pharmacy
• Operate advanced surgical equipment (DaVinci Xi, Hana Tables, Globus Excelsius GPS Robot)
• Follow universal protocols and safety standards
• Participate in call rotation as scheduled
• Document patient care using Epic charting system
• Support specimen handling and labeling, ensuring compliance with facility policies
