Job Title: Locum Physician - General Medicine
Join our dedicated team in providing quality healthcare services to our nation's Veterans in Houston, Texas. This role will allow you to perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. We are focused on ensuring our Veterans receive the care they deserve.

Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
- Perform interview-based assessments along with some physical examinations, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Complete necessary documentation including reports and any required addendums.
- Maintain a focus on patient care while adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Engage in administrative duties associated with patient examinations.
- Participate in ongoing training and certifications as required.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in METs testing and evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular systems.
- Ownership of a laptop (non-Mac/Apple products).
- AANP certification required.
- Active and unrestricted full medical license.
- Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
- Prior experience in general medicine preferred.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid and active medical license in Alaska.
- AANP certification.
- DMA certification (must be obtained upon hire).
