Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical Oncology unit with a TX or compact RN license and at least one year of recent oncology experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in a Medical Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes oncology/hematology patients receiving chemotherapy and cancer-related care
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including administration of chemotherapy
• Maintain up-to-date skills checklist, professional references, and state board license verification
• Dress code and additional credentialing requirements may apply
• No Canadian SSNs accepted

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a medical oncology setting
• Current BLS certification accepted from AHA or ARC
• ONC (Oncology Nursing Certification) or chemo certification required for all RNs working in oncology
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
