Multiple Units Hiring
Department: Nephrology | RN.
- # Beds: 21 beds; all private except for one room is semi-private (2 patients); overhead lift equipment in all rooms Bedside report. And 1-2 hour rounding on patients is required.
- Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 (days) and 1:5-6 (nights).
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: ESRD; AKI; Hemo- and Peritoneal Dialysis patients, parathyroidectomies (some with auto-Implants), ileal conduit creations, TURPS, prostatectomies, kidney stones, graft/fistula repairs, deceased and living donor kidney and pancreas transplant both new post-op and rejection, transplant biopsies, gen-med overflow.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: gen-med background.
- We can provide guidance for the rest.
- Positive attitude, teamwork, Dependability.
- Preferred: nephrology or urology background.
Department: Neuro MedSurg Acute | RN.
- # Beds: 54 beds (2 semi private).
- Nurse: Patient Ratios: Day shift 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6.
- Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Stroke, spine surgery, seizure, brain tumor, head injury, any neuroscience, some medical overflow.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Must have level 1 trauma experience, must have previous travel experience (no first time Travelers), must have prior experience working on a dedicated neuro unit.
Department: Orthopedic | RN.
- # Beds: 43 all private rooms.
- Nurse: Patient Ratios: 1:4-5 on 12 hr days and 1:5-6 12 hr nights.
- Required certifications: BLS.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Wide variety medical surgical, postoperative orthopedic Case, trauma case with fractures.
- Experience or 'Must have' skills: Postop surgical care and general med surg care; we like 1-2 years.
