Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a 12-bed rehabilitation unit with Cerner EMR proficiency and a Georgia or compact license.
Responsibilities
- Work in a 12-bed Med/Surg rehabilitation unit within a hospital setting
- Patients receive intensive therapy, averaging 3 hours per day
- Day shifts scheduled from 6:45a-7:15p, three 12-hour shifts per week
- No on-call requirements
- Unit is temporarily relocated due to main building renovations
- Uses Cerner EMR system
- Provide nursing care and coordinate intensive daily therapy for a diverse Med/Surg rehabilitation population
- Returning permanent staff seeking travel positions must have a 2-year break from previous employment at this facility
- First time travelers are accepted
- Scrubs required in accordance with hospital policy
- Requested time off must be submitted prior to offer; no additional requests allowed post-offer
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- No permanent residency within 50 miles of the facility
