Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a WI or compact license, advanced certifications, and strong CRRT skills.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the ICU unit of a hospital setting
- Work schedule includes 12-hour day and night shifts with variable assignments
- Scheduling requires flexibility between 7:00-19:00 and 19:00-7:00 shifts, with schedule set 4 weeks at a time
- Potential to float to the IMCU (stepdown) unit as staffing needs arise
- Responsibilities include managing critically ill patients and supporting the ICU team
- Team structure may require floating to adjacent intermediate care units as needed
- Schedule transitions between days and nights will not occur within the same week
- First time travelers will be considered
- Applicants must be able to accommodate variable scheduling needs and flexible assignments
Requirements
- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required
- Strong CRRT skills are mandatory
- Must provide two professional supervisor references within the past year, including one from the most recent assignment
