Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Telemetry unit. This role involves caring for patients in need of telemetry monitoring while providing comprehensive nursing assessments and delivering high-quality patient care. The RN will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Coordinate patient care with healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the electronic medical record
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience required
- Minimum of 1 year experience in specialty (Telemetry/Medical Surgical) required
- AHA BLS certification is mandatory
- CMSRN certification is preferred
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required prior to starting
- Current New York RN license or proof of application required
