Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Newton Lower Falls, MA 02462 (Greater Boston area)
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry – Slotnick 6 East
• Employment Type: Travel RN Contract
• Start Date: January 19, 2026
• End Date: April 18, 2026
• Duration: 13-week nursing contract
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:15 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours (3x12hr shifts)
• Schedule: Every other weekend & rotating holidays
• Openings: 6 travel RN positions available

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience
• Completion of facility orientation and attestation
• Current immunizations (MMR, Influenza, TB Test)
• Ability to pass background checks and provide professional references
• Resume and nursing skills checklist required

RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond to changes in patient status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and prescribed procedures
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Participate in rotating holiday and weekend coverage
