Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Lead daily operations of a high-volume kitchen within a fine-dining or upscale setting
- Execute and uphold standards for creative, upscale American cuisine
- Recruit, train, develop, and inspire a large culinary team
- Ensure all company standards for quality, cleanliness, and consistency are consistently met
- Maintain exceptional food quality with strong attention to detail and operational discipline
Sous Chef Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in upscale or fine-dining environments
- Proven experience in both restaurant and event-based culinary operations
- Background in high-volume operations with annual sales of $5M+
- Strong cost control skills with a track record of meeting financial goals
- Respectful mentor focused on team development and kitchen culture
