Job DescriptionThe Maternity Services RN will provide care in a 64-bedded unit that includes low-risk antepartum, postpartum, and well-baby nursery services. The practice implements couplet care, allowing the mother and neonate to be cared for together, maintaining a standard nurse-to-couplet ratio of 3:1.
Responsibilities- Provide direct care to mothers and newborns while promoting family-centered care.
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Educate parents on newborn care and discharge planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Minimum of 2 years of mother/baby couplet care experience required.
- Certifications in BLS and NRP are mandatory.
- No previous travel experience is required.
