ResponsibilitiesDuties include inpatient care services to infants. Successful candidates will interact with an interdisciplinary team of health care professionals working in Level 1 and Level 2 nursery settings. We offer competitive compensation and excellent benefits. Shift coverage 7 on/7off, 5 on/9 off to include at least one weekend a month for a total of 156 shifts annually. A "shift" is twenty-four hours in length consisting of eight hours of clinical services onsite and sixteen hours of unrestricted call coverage.As?a Newborn Pediatric Hospitalist, you will complete initial assessments/evaluations of newborn patients while providing ongoing monitoring of patients' medical conditions and providing appropriate treatment. Order prescription medications and diagnostic procedures while authorizing and coordinating all specialty/ancillary services. Maintaining a consultative relationship with nurses, social workers, staff clinic nurses, rehab staff and other team members is expected.
