Banner Children's Specialists is seeking a motivated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our highly dynamic Pediatric Forensic team in Mesa, Arizona! This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to be part of a growing program dedicated to the evaluation, management, and follow-up care of children with findings concerning for maltreatment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and coordinate care for children referred for forensic assessment.
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care.
- Participate in prevention and advocacy projects focused on child protection and family support.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and have opportunities for leadership in program initiatives and projects.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) in the state of Arizona (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- DEA with prescriptive authority required
- Previous NP experience required, 1- 2 years' experience in Child Maltreatment, Advocacy, or Prevention preferred
- Schedule, M-F, 8:30am-4:30pm with no overnight call.
- Call: Every 3rd week (7 days) M-Sun 630a-11p
- Experience and Interest in Teaching/Presenting Education to other Health Care Professionals preferred.

- Strong ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in child maltreatment, advocacy, or prevention.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills.
