The Community Support Specialist III provides behavioral health case management services to adults with serious mental illness in the St. Louis area, utilizing face-to-face and telehealth methods. Responsibilities include completing assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, documenting services, and supporting clients through crisis and recovery efforts. The role requires a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling and involves some travel to serve clients in the greater region.
Up to a $1500 Sign on Bonus
Case Management - Completing Assessments
Must have a Master's Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Counseling (ONLY)
Adult client population – high volume low acuity clients
Will see clients face to face and via Teledoc or by phone
Client population within the greater STL area
Teledoc services will be provided for clients living in the Farmington area as needed
Required to travel to Farmington every 3 weeks
Overview
BJC Behavioral Health is a community health center that provides and coordinates behavioral health services for more than 8,000 seriously mentally ill adults and seriously emotionally disturbed children in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, St. François, Iron and Washington counties. As an Administrative Agent of the Missouri Department of Mental Health (DMH), BJC Behavioral Health serves as a major point of entry for people eligible for mental health services funded by DMH and is responsible for serving as gatekeeper to the public mental health system.
