A leading healthcare system in Iowa is seeking an Inpatient Gastroenterology Physician for a Locum-to-Permopportunity beginning October 2025 and continuing on an ongoing basis. This role offers comprehensive hospital-based GI coverage with a strong expectation of procedural skill and interest in a permanent position.

• Type: Inpatient Locum-to-Perm

• Location: Iowa

• Schedule: 24-hour call, 7 a.m. 7 a.m.

• Start Date: October 2025 ongoing

• Patient Population: Adults only

• EMR: Cerner

• Hospital-based GI coverage

• Perform ERCP (required)

• EUS highly preferred

• Perform 3 4 outpatient procedures per day

• Inpatient procedures and consults

• Must be actively seeking Locum-to-Perm opportunities (Required)

• Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency (Required)

• Active IA license or IMLC(Required)

• ACLS certification (Required)

• Comfortable with full inpatient GI responsibilities (Required)

• ERCP required

• EUS highly preferred

• COVID vaccination required

• Clean malpractice and background history (Required)

• Willing to sign a perm-interest attestation form (required)
