Locum or Locum-to-Permanent Outpatient Only Roanoke Rapids & Lake Gaston, NC
TinkBird Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a Family Practice clinic serving the Roanoke Rapids and Lake Gaston communities in North Carolina. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling, a supportive team environment, and the possibility for a long-term transition to permanent placement.

Setting: Outpatient only (all ages)
Schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM
1-hour lunch break
Coverage: 5 days per week preferred; 3 4 consecutive days also acceptable
Length of Assignment: 3-month intervals, with potential for extension or permanent placement
Volume: patients per day
Support Staff: Yes, fully staffed team on site
Call: Very light after-hours telephonic call; RN triage team handles all initial calls
Weekends & Holidays: Closed
Requirements
Active North Carolina medical license
Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Minimum 2 years of experience in Family Practice, Internal Medicine, or Med-Peds
Comfortable managing care for patients across the lifespan
Ability to meet quality metrics for preventive and chronic disease management
Willingness to interview with leadership and provide 3 professional references
Acceptable NPDB query required
