Join a South Jersey OB/GYN practice with regular on-call schedule and permanent placement. Board-certified OB/GYN role in South Jersey; permanent full-time; hospital & outpatient duties; weekly in-hospital call plus 4–5 outpatient on-call days/month. - Unrestricted NJ medical license
- Board Certification in OB/GYN
- Active CPR certification
- Ability to perform histories, physicals, prescribe meds, order/tests and manage acute deviations

Full description
Seeking a BC OB/GYN to join practice
Assess the bio/psycho/social/spiritual health status of individual clients and families through history taking, data collection, and physical exam
Assists staff nurses to facilitate care for walk-in patients
Completes accurate documentation according to site specific standards
Works in collaboration with staff, physicians, allied health professionals, and others to implement the patients plan of care
Prescribes or make judgments regarding pharmacologic agents and therapeutic devices
Dispenses/Administers/Prescribes medications according to policy & protocol
Recognizes and manages deviations from health
Recognizes patients whose problem is out of scope of practice and obtain appropriate care
Orders appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests ordered
Follows up on laboratory and diagnostic tests ordered
Communicates with patient to arrive at mutually agreed upon plan of care to include actual and potential health problems
Evaluation and revision of patient plan of care is ongoing
Provides health education
Provides referral and case management
On Call Services: Agrees to at least 1 call per week in hospital and 4-5 outpatient only on-call days per month. Additional coverage may be necessary from time to time due to extraordinary circumstances.
Requirements: unrestricted NJ license, maintain active CPR
