Key Details about Position

• Adult & geriatric focused
• General Psychiatry preferred. We have resources and a support system to support many of the subspecialty areas.

• This sole Psychiatrist will work with our onsite geriatrician. The hospital will also hire for support staff for this clinic (counselor, social workers. Etc) based on the doctor s recommendations
• No ER call, outpatient only for now. No call requirement. We do have plans in the next 2-3 years to have some inpatient beds.
• Possible UAB affiliation
• Will be located in a brand-new stat of the art Advanced Care facility
• If physician onboard early, may have opportunity to help with building design
• Looking for a candidate to start immediately
