A California-licensed Psychiatric - Mental Health Physician provides psychiatric care, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and medication management across two outpatient clinics in Gilroy and Campbell, CA. This role involves collaboration with clinical teams and program managers to ensure high-quality standards and staff development, while also offering support for after-hours crises. The position requires an MD, state licensure, DEA registration, and substantial psychiatric experience, with Spanish language skills considered an advantage.
We are seeking a California-licensed Psychiatrist for a full-time/part time , in-person position, providing services across two outpatient clinic locations in Gilroy and Campbell, CA.
The role for full time requires working 2 days per week at one location and 3 days at the other, based on the needs of each clinic. Typical working hours are from 9 AM 5:30 PM or 10 AM 6:30 PM, with some flexibility as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead psychiatric care procedures in coordination with clinical teams.
- Participates in clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and conducting psychiatric evaluations.
- Collaborate with program managers to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
- Provides psychiatric services and consultation for staff development and best practice implementation.
- Provide support for after-hours psychiatric crises when necessary.
- Maintains licensure, attends required training, and represents the agency at city/state meetings.
Qualifications:
- MD from an accredited institution.
- Current California Medical Board License.
- DEA registration to prescribe medications.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably with children.
- Spanish bilingual skills are a plus.
- Valid California driver s license.
