Position Overview

A locum Hematologist/Oncologist is needed at a major Minnesota health system to provide inpatient malignant hematology and medical oncology coverage. This is a full-time role with scheduled daytime shifts and required call (PM and weekends). Emergency privileges are available for providers with a clean file, making this an excellent opportunity for rapid start. Weekly gross pay in the Top 10% of hematology/oncology locum roles nationwide.

Assignment Highlights

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM + required evening and weekend call

• Setting: Hospital and Infusion Center

• Specialty Requirement: Malignant hematology required

• Support Staff: APPs available weekdays on the inpatient side; no APP support for nights/weekends

• Procedures: Infusion and malignant hematology

• EMR: Epic

• Credentialing: 90 days with MN license; 120 days if new license needed; emergency privileges available with clean file

• Top 10% market pay for Hematology/Oncology locums

• Malpractice insurance covered by HPA Healthcare

• HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency

Skills & Experience

• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology

• Active Minnesota license required (IMLC accepted)

• DEA and BLS required

• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred

• Must have experience in malignant hematology and medical oncology
