Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a primarily outpatient role with some inpatient coverage, requiring at least 3 years of experience and a BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Position is primarily outpatient physical therapy with some inpatient swing bed coverage
- Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
- Schedule includes one Saturday shift per month
- No holiday or on-call requirements
- Redoc is used for outpatient documentation and Cerner is used for inpatient documentation
- Clinician will not be treating a neuro population in outpatient
- Dress code is gray scrubs or business casual attire
- Primary duties include evaluating and treating patients in outpatient settings and assisting with inpatient care as needed
- Position is open to first-time travelers
- No neuro population caseload in outpatient
- Supportive interdisciplinary team environment
- No holiday work required
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of physical therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid state physical therapy license required if applicable
- Must be skilled in both outpatient and some inpatient physical therapy
- Experience with Redoc and Cerner systems is preferred
