Job Description & Requirements Surgery - General StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Call 24 Pay Rate: $1746.00 - $1890.00 This facility is seeking a General Surgery Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details and requirements for this opportunity: Schedule: Starting February 6, 2026, 24-hour call only Practice Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient Types of Cases:Weekend Call to help cover with Call Volume. Mostly emergency department and inpatient work with the possibility of some outpatient work. Credentialing Timeframe: 45 days Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Athena & Meditech Certifications Required: Board Certified, Fellowship preferred, Basic Life Support (BLS) Licensure Required:Active Texas State Medical License Facility Location Perhaps best known for serving as the titular location of Wim Wenders' haunting film, Paris, TX is a small town with a rich sense of communal history.
