Schedule and Coverage- Shift Coverage: Scheduled + On Call
- Shift Schedule: Standard 5, Day (8 Hours) 07:30 - 15:30
- Call Hours: 15:30 - 07:30 (in-house primary call)
- Call Frequency:
- Weeknight Call: 3 nights/month (may increase during startup phase)
- Weekend Call: 7 weekends/year (may increase during startup phase)
- Call Response Time:
- Primary Call: In-house (anesthesia call room or hospital housing)
- Secondary Call: 30-minute response radius
- Post-Call:
- Primary call receives post-call day off
- Secondary call does not, but is first out on peel-out

General Job Responsibilities- Independently administer anesthesia for high-acuity surgical cases
- Perform spinals, blocks, and epidurals (must be proficient)
- Monitor patients before, during, and after anesthesia
- Collaborate with surgical and medical teams to ensure safe anesthesia care
- Maintain accurate documentation of anesthesia services
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Minimum Education Requirements- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program
License & Certifications- Active and unrestricted CRNA license in Indiana
- Board Certification (NBCRNA) Required
- DEA and Indiana CSR Required
- ACLS (AHA only) Required
- Must enroll in INPCF
Experience- Must provide case logs showing proficiency in spinals, blocks, and epidurals (minimum 350 cases in past 12 months)
- MD reference required
- Board Certification required; Board Eligible not accepted
Additional Notes- Credentialing timeframe: days. Temporary privileges available for candidates with a clean background and malpractice history
