RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Seasonal travel assignment in Intermediate Medical Unit (IMU)
• Work in telemetry unit with 37 beds and 3rd floor location
• Patient ratios of 1:6 (1:4 for Heart Cath patients)
• Use equipment including PCA pumps, IV pumps, and chest tubes
• Work with Meditech electronic medical record system
• Perform typical procedures such as central lines, medication drips, heart cath recovery, and bubble studies
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Must demonstrate positive attitude, independence, and strong critical thinking skills
• Night shift staffing includes 8 RNs and 3 Patient Care Techs
