Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse with experience in circulating C-sections and nursery care. The ideal candidate should have a strong clinical background and the ability to handle immediate care and stabilization of newborns.
Responsibilities
- Assist in labor and delivery, including circulating C-sections.
- Provide initial stabilization and care for newborns in the nursery.
- Transport critical newborns if necessary while ensuring ongoing care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- New York State nursing license required.
- Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Prior travel experience preferred.
- BLS and NRP certifications must be current (within the past two years).
- Fetal Monitoring certification required.
