Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position specializing in neurosurgical and complex cases, requiring a FL or compact RN license and AHA BLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Surgery unit of a hospital
- Primary patient population includes neurosurgical, complex spine, brain, pediatric neuro, and deep brain stimulation (DBS) cases
- Day shifts from 06:00 to 16:30
- On-call requirements include weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Work every fourth weekend on a rotation
- Holiday coverage required for New Year's Day and Easter
- All travelers may be required to work at a local rate if they reside within the facility's defined radius
- Dress code, scrub requirements, and additional onboarding instructions will be provided prior to start
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
Requirements
- Active FL or compact RN license required
- Nursys verification and current license documentation required within 30 days prior to start
- AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant operating room experience
- Experience with neurosurgical, complex spine, brain, pediatric neuro, and DBS cases required
- Must provide a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
