This temporary role will offer comprehensive inpatient care with a mix of in-house and on-call hours in a facility located near Eltopia, WA. Position Details: Location: Near Eltopia, Washington Position Type: Locum Tenens, temporary coverage Start Date: December 24, 2024 End Date: January 1, 2025 Shift Details: 24-hour shifts 8 hours in-house, followed by 16 hours on call Orientation day required Setting: Inpatient ICU with 14 beds Holidays Covered: Christmas Day and New Year s Day Patient Care Requirements: Rounding duties included Admissions and phone consultations as needed Response time required for on-call hours Clinical Skills and Certifications Needed: Core Specialty: Internal Medicine with a Critical Care focus Certifications Required: WA State Medical License, ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS Preferred Skills: Ventilation Management (Invasive and Non-invasive) Chest tube insertion Central and arterial line placements Diagnostic procedures such as lumbar puncture, thoracentesis, paracentesis ICP evaluation and management Dialysis catheter placement Facility Highlights: Practice Setting: Inpatient-only, no outpatient responsibilities required Support: Full EMR integration via Clinician Hub Facility Capabilities: Certified for stroke care Credentialing: Temporary privileges available for quick start; estimated timeframe of 30 days Why This Opportunity?
