  • Perform essential stabilization procedures as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

  • Participate in inpatient rounds and consultations during on-call weeks.
  • Be available for outpatient clinic visits during on-call weeks (minimum of 5 patients per day).

• Qualifications for Success:

  • Current board certification in pediatric emergency medicine is mandatory.
  • Valid and active Pennsylvania state medical license is required.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in pediatric emergency medicine is preferred.
  • Current certifications in BLS and PALS are mandatory.
  • Experience with EEG Reads is a requirement.
  • Familiarity with specific conditions like Bartter's Syndrome, Fabry Disease, Fanconi Syndrome, Hemolytic-uremic Syndrome, Hepatorenal Syndrome, and Renal Transplant is preferred.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills are crucial.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is essential.
  • Commitment to a minimum of two weeks of availability per month is required.
  • Willingness to be available for calls during evenings and weekends during assigned on-call weeks is required.
