- A leading health system in Upstate New York is seeking a Board-Certified Physician with a passion for workplace health, regulatory compliance, and injury prevention to join its expanding Occupational Health Services team. This is a unique chance to practice within a growing employer services network that partners with a wide range of industries to keep employees safe, healthy, and productive.
Position Highlights
- Provide comprehensive occupational health services, including pre-employment physicals, injury evaluation/treatment, DOT exams, and regulatory testing
- Collaborate with employers, case managers, and safety officers to promote return-to-work strategies and injury prevention programs
- Care for employees across manufacturing, healthcare, logistics, and municipal sectors
- Monday Friday schedule no nights or weekend call
- Supported by experienced nursing, administrative, and employer relations teams
Qualifications
- Board Certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Preventive Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Surgery, Orthopedics, PM&R, or Physiatry
- Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Certified Medical Examiner for the Department of Transportation (DOT) (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Prior experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or industrial health preferred
