Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring BLS and ACLS certifications and on-call responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Operating Room (Surgery Unit) of a hospital setting
• Day shifts with scheduled hours typically 07:00–19:30
• Weekly work hours range from 36 to 40 including call shifts
• Overnight call rotation approximately every 1-2 weeks, weekend call approximately every 4-5th weekend
• Holiday call rotation included
• Must comply with the facility's dress and appearance policy; jeans, halter-tops, shorts, sleeveless shirts, or facial earrings are not allowed
• Must participate in call rotations including weekends and holidays
• Required to accurately record work and meal break times
• COVID vaccination card may be requested for consideration

Requirements

• Current and active RN license
• At least 1 year of Operating Room RN experience required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred
